Project Ideas

In my class, our big project will involve an essay/slideshow on a related subject of our choice. My options include: Hetalia: A critical analysis on the anime, its historical teachings and anthropology. Aggretsuko: A critical analysis of the anime and its message on the adult workplace. Why and how anime gets cencored/banned. Anime's Influence on Western animation/media. As for dates, I prefer something around late April/early May. I tend to be busy with a lot of schoolwork, so having time with this would be really appreciated. Thank you.

All in all, it's not too bad. Like a lot of manga, we get a look into something we normally don't think about; this one was on dairy farming. It's certainly got humor and slice of life tropes, the kind I tend to enjoy as a sort of lazy read. Not to mention both me and the protagonist both hate physical labor. So to be frank, it may be kinda slow, and could speed up the pace in a few areas (especially if you're adapting it for animation), but it's the good kind of pacing that lets you relate to characters on a comical and humane level. Those are the kind of stories I like the most.

Honestly, not too bad of a presentation. Maybe at least one visual per slide would be cool.
